Ottawa Marathon

Kenyan Kids Foundation Canada is in a unique position to make a real difference in the lives of impoverished people living in Kenya. We connect directly with the people of Cherangany through Wesley Korir (2012 Boston Marathon champion) and his Canadian wife Tarah (2016 Ottawa Marathon Top Canadian female 2:35:46). Our mission is to reduce poverty by “Investing in Co-operative development for education, health and economic vitality”.

Kenyan Kids Foundation Canada was founded by elite marathoners Tarah and Wesley Korir. They are passionate about using their running talents to help impoverished students in Cherangany, Kenya. Our high school scholarships help these students and their families escape from the cycle of poverty.

Please join our KKFC fundraising team to receive a free Kenyan Kids singlet. Raise at least $100 to receive a free copy of Tarah’s children’s book, “Grandma and Gogo” (www.kenyankidsfoundation.ca/ggbook) or the DVD “Transcend” (which follows Wesley’s life from Kenya to Boston and beyond).
